At the end of November, with the rolling-out of the last package of MHP products, Lygend HPL Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") officially announced the achievement of the annual design capacity of HPAL Project Phase I and Phase II (including three production lines with annual design capacity of 55,000 metal metric tons of nickel cobalt compounds) one month ahead of schedule.
In 2023, with the strong support of leaders at all levels and the close cooperation of various departments, all employees of HPL Company pursued progress in solidarity, made hard and pioneering efforts, strictly controlled the process quality while improving the skills of employees, and held the bottom line of work safety while improving the operation efficiency of production equipment. As of November 2023, the consumption indicators of various raw and auxiliary materials of HPL were lower than the design values, and the effective operation time of the system exceeded the design value, which also laid a solid foundation for the three lines to surpass the design capacity in 2024.
HPL Company is a high-pressure acid leaching company jointly invested and constructed by Lygend Resources & Technology Co., Ltd. and its Indonesian partners. Since the successful feeding and trial production of high-pressure autoclaves on April 27, 2021, HPL Company has been in a full-load production mode, exceeding the annual production task in the first year. In 2022, the production of the MHP product metal nickel of the Company's two series of high-pressure autoclaves exceeded 42,000 tons, with a capacity utilization rate of over 100%. In January 2023, the third high-pressure autoclave was put into operation. At the end of March 2023, the nickel sulfate system was officially put into operation, further improving the Company's production. With the upgrading of products towards high quality and diversification, the Company has been able to actively respond to the variability of the market, stabilize and improve the level of efficiency.
