The OBI acid leaching ONC project Phase III of Lygend has reached a new milestone. Following the successful delivery of the first high-pressure autoclave, the second and third high-pressure autoclaves were also loaded onto the ship at Zhenjiang Erzhong Port on June 3 and shipped together with the flash tank. They are expected to arrive at the OBI project site in Indonesia on June 17.
As one of the core equipment of the acid leaching ONC project Phase III, high-pressure autoclaves undertake key reaction and processing tasks. They have a complex internal structure and are in a horizontal multi-compartment structure, with each compartment provided with an independent mixing device. This design enables the equipment to operate stably under complex conditions of high temperature and pressure, while also providing reliable support for the nickel-cobalt production process.
The manufacturer of the two high-pressure autoclaves is Jiangsu Sunpower Heat Exchanger & Pressure Vessel Co., Ltd. With the weight up to an astonishing 1,050t, they provide strong impetus for the successful promotion of the acid leaching ONC project Phase III.
