The RKEF ferronickel production line of Lygend HJF Company once again made glorious achievements. In August, its metal nickel output fully reached its production goals and exceeded its production plan; it completed metal nickel output of more than 8,000 tons, and achieved a capacity utilization rate of over 100%.Among others, the indicators such as roasted ore consumption per unit output, semi-coke consumption per unit output of nickel, and lignite consumption per unit output of nickel all reached advanced levels in the same industry.
HJF Company is a project company for the first phase of the RKEF project jointly invested and built by Lygend Resources Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company" or "Lygend") and its Indonesian partners. It consists of 8 nickel-iron production lines. The construction of the Project was started in early 2021. The first production line was successfully put into operation in October 2022, and all 8 production lines were put into operation by the end of May 2023.After it was fully put into operation, HJF Company's monthly output of metal nickel exceeded 8,000 tons in just three months, quickly reaching its production goals and exceeding its production plan, reaching its design capacity in the shortest possible time, and demonstrating its excellent capabilities in the industry.
This success is inseparable from the Company's rich experience and technological innovation, as well as the hard work of frontline employees and management teams in solidarity. On the basis of the professional experience of technical units, the Company's RKEF production line combines the practical experience and advanced technology accumulated by Lygend over many years in the RKEF ferronickel plant, including the industry's first direct combustion technology of hot raw gas supply for rotary kilns, water cooled roof of submerged arc furnace, vaporization flues, combination control and other process technologies, providing solid support for the Company's efficient production.
Looking to the future, the Company will strive to achieve higher objectives, make concerted efforts and work hard to continuously improve the output and quality of the Indonesian OBI project, continue to lower costs and increase efficiency, and promote the enterprise to achieve higher-quality development.
